Optical Measurement
The benefits of optical measuring technology are its high point density and speed. You receive informative results in a very short time. We use various systems: multi sensory coordinate measuring machines with white-light sensors for non-contact surface assessment and topography measurement, plus the latest 3D scanners.
Thanks to the extremely high point density, you can holistically assess parts in a short time. Plan/actual comparisons, re-qualifications and tool correction data can be conveniently and reliably generated.

Gear measurements
Fields of applications
Cylindrical gear
Involute gears and splines as well as splines with linear profiles can be measured. It does not matter if it is an external or internal gear, spur or helical. Special shapes such as conically corrected gears or beveloids as well as parallel key splines or serrated splines can also be analyzed.
Spiral and straight bevel gear
A distinction is made between spiral and straight bevel gears. All variations such as pinions, ring gears and dies can also be measured. The nominal data can be generated in typical industry formats such as Gleason (GAGE) or Klingenberg (KIMOS), or can be imported from a CAD model. If there is no nominal data, the master gear method (or digitization) can also be applied.

Display and assessment of measuring results
​
We use CAD data from all standard formats. Through direct input of the specific measuring uncertainty and traceability to national standards, we assure reliable results. Then it comes to the displaying measuring results, there are different possibilities depending on the requirements.
We’ll provide you with the results in the form of a nominal-actual comparison, a curve evaluation either in printed form or digitally. This means all options for using the measurement data are open to you.
Various interfaces enable export of the measuring results to external systems.
